Our goal at Red Lion Elementary School is to provide educational experiences for our
students that are meaningful, relevant and rigorous.
Our
Staff will strive to integrate from 5 years - 3rd grade Red Lion Elementary School curriculum to the greatest
extend possible. Reading, writing, speaking, listening, math, science, as well as the arts are integrated throughout the instructional
program, learned
and practiced by students in all curriculum areas and not as isolated skills.
We strive to provide learning experiences in which deep understanding of the concept
is the goal rather than merely covering the information.
Our intention is to provide a
challenging, multi-cultural curriculum, which integrates all subjects and responds to each
child's interest,
learning needs and styles.
Red Lion Elementary School has a very hardworking, fully credentialed teaching staff
dedicated to providing a standards-based curriculum
for all children. Recognizing the
importance of teamwork, they plan by grade level on a regular basis.
